First Baptist Swansboro's Children Ministry is committed to teaching and ministering to children from birth through grade 5. Our desire is to provide all children with a safe, loving, and fun environment so that they can come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ and grow spiritually in Him. We are also committed to building a partnership with parents to provide a total
ministry to each child and their families.
Bridge 56 is a new ministry for 5th and 6th graders, intentionally designed to help navigate faith as they transition from childhood to adolescence. Activities include Bible study, hang-out time (fellowship), special events and outings (i.e., bowling, mini golf, lock-ins, etc.).

The goal of our kids' ministry is to present children mature in Christ through the teaching of the Gospel. As Colossians 1:28 says, “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”
First Baptist Kids Ministry seeks to proclaim The Gospel and draw our children and their families into a faithful relationship with God in Jesus Christ. It is this great hope of salvation that I want all children to know about and trust in. I sure hope you will visit with us!

It is the goal of our nursery to provide a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers (birth to 2 year olds) while you attend the services and activities at First Baptist Swansboro. Nursery services are available during all regularly-scheduled services on Sundays and Wednesdays, as well as many of our special events.

Children's Church is available during both worship services on Sunday mornings for children 3 years old through kindergarten. Children are presented with a hands-on Bible lesson that inspires them and helps lay a foundation for a healthy and active relationship with Christ. We teach them the love of Christ through stories, crafts, songs and more!
Super Church is a worship service for kids in grades 1-5, consisting of praise and worship, large-group Bible teaching, and small-group discussion, all designed with kids in mind!
A children's activity bulletin is available for kids that remain with their parents during both the 9am and 11am worship services.
Sunday School programs are available for children in nursery through 5th grade. Children get to Explore the Bible! Sunday School material is biblically grounded, age appropriate, engaging, and encourages children to understand who God is and what He has done for us! Sunday School is offered year around.

AWANA roots God’s Word into the hearts and minds of our kids. One of the most important gifts we can give to the next generation is a deep and personal knowledge of the Bible. AWANA is an exciting, weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand. Kids make new friends, play exciting games, memorize scripture, enjoy Bible lessons, and earn awards.
6:30pm - 7:30pm
Mission Friends provide the building blocks of faith and a basic awareness of God's love for all people. As preschool and kindergartners journey through weekly Bible lessons, they will grow in their faith and have opportunities to apply Biblical learning through outreach and service.
6:30pm - 7:30pm
Girls In Action (GAs) is a missions discipleship program for girls. Girls in grades 1st-6th can be a part of GAs! In GAs, girls learn about, pray for, give to, and do missions work. They also make new friends, earn badges, and have lots of fun!
