First Baptist Swansboro's Children Ministry is committed to teaching and ministering to children from birth through grade 5. Our desire is to provide all children with a safe, loving, and fun environment so that they can come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ and grow spiritually in Him. We are also committed to building a partnership with parents to provide a total

ministry to each child and their families.

Nursery Care

9:00am - 12:00pm & 6:30pm - 7:30pm

It is the goal of our nursery to provide a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers. We want you to feel secure about your child’s well being while you attend the services and activities at First Baptist Swansboro. Nursery services are available during all regularly-scheduled services on Sundays and Wednesdays as well as many of our special events.  Nursery care is provided for children from birth to 2 years old.

Children's Church

9:00am & 11:00am

Children's Church is available during both worship services on Sunday mornings for children 3-6 years old. During this worship time, children will be presented with a hands-on Bible lesson that will inspire them and help lay a foundation for a healthy and active relationship with Christ. We will teach them the love of Christ through stories, crafts, songs and more!  Every lesson taught reinforces

Biblical truths.

Children's Worship

9:00am & 11:00am

Children ages 7 and up join their parents in the worship service. During each service there is a Children’s Moment where they are invited to participate in biblically-grounded object lessons. In addition, children can pick up a Worship Activity Bag. The bag contains coloring pages, crafts, and a Children's Worship Bulletin that is filled with scripture, mazes, puzzles, and other activities that go along with the sermon being preached on Sunday mornings. See an usher for help finding these items. After the service, simply leave the bag, with all supplies in your seat.  Any activities or pages that you have completed may be taken home.

sunday school

Sunday School programs are available for children in nursery through 5th grade. Children get to Explore the Bible!  Sunday School material is biblically grounded, age appropriate, engaging, and encourages children to understand who God is and what He has done for us! Sunday School is offered year around.

A Message from the Minister

The goal of our kids' ministry is to present children mature in Christ through the teaching of the Gospel. As Colossians 1:28 says, “Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”

First Baptist Kids Ministry seeks to proclaim The Gospel and draw our children and their families into a faithful relationship with God in Jesus Christ. It is this great hope of salvation that I want all children to know about and trust in. I sure hope you will visit with us!
