We're so glad you stopped by! Whether you are recently retired or settled in the area, looking for a church family during your current tour of duty, or vacationing our beautiful Crystal Coast, we can't wait to meet you!
When you arrive at First Baptist Swansboro, you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly environment by people who are genuinely excited to see you! Our services generally last 45 to 60 minutes, but we promise it’s going to fly by. You’ll hear an inspiring and relevant biblical message each week and be a part of a powerful music experience with a welcoming church family. We believe that God’s word can transform our lives as we learn and apply His principles to everyday living.
We hope to answer a few initial questions with the information below so that you know what to expect and have a great experience connecting with Jesus and His people.
Our Sunday morning consists of
9:15am Bible Study Groups and Worship at 10:30am. We invite you to arrive a little early for checking in your children or grabbing a cup of coffee and meeting some of our members.
Being a beach town, our environment is casual. You'll find everything from business suits to flip-flops at our Worship gatherings. It's not about what you look like or what you wear. We want you to be comfortable.
We've got the block of West Corbett Avenue, Park Lane and Main Street Extension covered. Parking is accessible from all three streets. We do ask that you be respectful of our neighbors when you park.
Sunday Morning Worship is held in our Worship Center in the Family Life Center. The FLC building has a Welcome Desk and two handicap accessible entrances.
Sunday will soon be your family's favorite day of the week! We are passionate about teaching our children the Gospel in safe, fun, age-appropriate ways. Thus, we provide for children from birth through 5th grade though FBC Kids, and 6th through 12th grade through FUSION Student Ministry. Both groups meet in the Family Life Center building.
Just like our fishermen ancestors and
friends, we do enjoy a fresh, hot cup of
coffee. Stop at one of the Coffee Stations
and share a cup on us!
Even in "The Friendly City By The Sea," we realize the necessity for precautions to keep our people safe. Although you may not recognize them, we have Security Staff
present at each scheduled activity. We
have also implemented extra check-in/out procedures for our children's safety.
Got a question? We'll research and try to provide an answer.
